They can't keep it tidy if you don't provide a place to stow it.  This large flat basket with a lid is so handy to keep by the front door for folks to strip off their fanny packs, water bottles, trail maps, hiking guides, compasses and whistles.  Sometimes you just need a basket with a lid to hide the tangled up mess inside.
